A three-chair barbershop in downtown Peterborough

We’ve been cutting hair here since 2014. Walk in whenever we’re open, or book a chair if you’d rather not wait. A haircut is $32, and every cut finishes with a hot towel and a straight-razor neck shave.

Three barbers, one chair each

Dev, Lou and Nadia have worked these chairs since 2019. Ask for someone by name when you book, or take the first chair that’s free. All three of us cut curly and textured hair every week.

  1. Chair one

    Dev

Known for skin fades and line-ups

Dev has been cutting for twelve years and does most of the fades that leave this shop. Bring a photo if you have one, because he’d rather see it than guess.

  2. Chair two

    Lou

Known for scissor cuts and kids’ cuts

Lou takes the longer scissor cuts and anything you’re trying to grow out. Parents ask for him because he’s patient with nervous kids and never rushes a first haircut.

  3. Chair three

    Nadia

Known for beards and hot towel shaves

Nadia does most of the shop’s shaves and beard work. She keeps Saturday mornings open for walk-ins, so hers is the chair to ask for if you didn’t book.

Hours and walk-ins

Walk-ins are welcome whenever we’re open. We take the last one 30 minutes before closing, so the final cut of the day gets the same care as the first.

Saturday mornings are the busiest, and a walk-in can wait half an hour or more. Thursday and Friday evenings are usually quiet and the easiest time to get in without a booking.

Quietest times: Thursday and Friday after 5 p.m.

What customers say

These three reviews average 4.7 out of 5.

  • My fade had grown out badly and Dev cleaned it up in about 35 minutes. He told me to come back in three weeks instead of two, which saves me a visit every couple of months.

    Jordan P.
  • Took my six-year-old for his first proper haircut. Lou let him hold the comb and kept the clippers away from his ears until he was ready.

    Priya S.
  • Best hot towel shave I’ve had in Peterborough. I waited about 25 minutes as a walk-in on a Saturday, so book ahead if you’re on a schedule.

Common questions

Can’t see yours here? Call (705) 555-0142 and ask.

Do I need to book, or can I walk in?

You can walk in any time we’re open, up to 30 minutes before closing. Booked customers go first, so on a busy Saturday morning a walk-in might wait half an hour or more. If you’re on a schedule, book a chair.

Do you cut kids’ hair?

Yes. A kids’ cut is $22 for anyone under 12, and we have a booster seat for the little ones. Lou does most of our kids’ cuts and is good with first haircuts. Weekday afternoons are calmer than Saturdays if your child is nervous.

Do you take cash or card?

We take both. Debit, Visa, Mastercard and tap all work, and cash is always fine. You can add a tip on the card machine.

Where do I park downtown?

There’s metered street parking on our block and a municipal parking garage a few minutes’ walk away. On Saturdays, give yourself five extra minutes to find a spot.

How long does a hot towel shave take?

Plan on about 40 minutes, including hot towels before the razor and a cold towel at the end. Shaves are much easier to fit in if you book ahead.

Do you cut curly and textured hair?

Yes. All three of us cut curly and textured hair every week. Dev does most of the tight fades and line-ups, and Lou is the one to see for longer curls that need scissor work.
