An auto detailing website should answer “how much?” before anyone asks.

A new car owner in Whitby, a parent with a salt-crusted SUV in March, someone selling a truck next week. They all search on a phone and want the same two things first: what it costs for their vehicle, and what's included. If they have to message you to find out, plenty of them will book the detailer who put it on the page.

We'll design your new website for free. You only pay if you like it.

A mobile detailing website we built from scratch

Lustre Lane Mobile Detailing is a business we made up. The website is real and finished.

A dusty car is foamed, rinsed, polished and ceramic coated as you scroll, then its doors and hood open in a dark showroom.

Every service has a price and a list of what's included, and a before and after slider shows the same door through a two-step paint correction. It names the six towns it drives to with no travel fee, and the booking form asks about the car first.

AI tools answer “how much is a detail?” with someone's prices.

When someone asks an AI tool about detailing, it pulls prices, packages and towns from detailers' websites and checks the reviews. If your prices only exist in your DMs, it'll quote someone else's.

The detailers that get named tend to be the ones with numbers on the page. A price table by vehicle size is easy for a person to scan, and just as easy for an AI tool to quote.

How much is a full interior detail for an SUV in Whitby? Somewhere that can do it this weekend.

These detailers in Whitby list interior detailing prices for SUVs:

  1. Brock Street Auto SpaTheir website shows interior prices by vehicle size and what's included, and lets you book a Saturday slot online.
  2. Clean Lines Mobile DetailingComes to your driveway in Whitby and Oshawa. Their site explains what they need from you, like an outdoor tap and a plug.
  3. Glasshouse Detail Co.Well reviewed for salt stains and pet hair. Customers mention the final price matched the quote.

What a detailing website needs

Detailing is easy to compare and hard to judge from a phone. Your site has to make the price clear and the result visible.

  • Packages with prices by vehicle

Car, SUV, truck or van, with a price or a “from” price for each package. It answers the first question before anyone has to ask it.

  • What's in each package

Vacuum, shampoo, steam, leather, clay bar, wax. Spell it out, so people can compare your full interior with someone else's fairly.

  • Before and after photos

Real cars, same angle, same light. Salt-stained carpet, pet hair, swirl marks. That's what people are trying to picture on their own vehicle.

  • Mobile or shop, made clear

If you go to them, list the towns and say what you need on site, like water, power and room to work. If they come to you, give the address, drop-off times and how long it takes.

  • Coatings and correction explained

Ceramic coating and paint correction are big tickets that people research first. A section each, in plain words, with how long it lasts and how to look after it.

  • Booking with the details you need

Year, make and model, the package, a time, and a photo or two. It saves a back and forth, and you show up with the right gear.

What it costs

We'll design your new website for free. You only pay if you like it.

Choose a new website, or keep the site you have and let us fix it for AI search. Everyone pays the same prices, so you'll know the cost before we start.

Detailers tend to use their five pages for the homepage, packages with prices, ceramic coating and paint correction, before and after photos, and booking with the area you drive to.

The tune-up covers your business details for AI tools, answers to the questions customers ask, an llms.txt file, crawler access, page titles and descriptions, and your Google Business Profile.

Questions about detailing websites

Our prices depend on the vehicle. How do we show that?

A simple table: packages across the top, car, SUV and truck down the side, with a price or a “from” price in each box. Extras like pet hair or heavy salt go underneath as add-ons.

We're mobile. What should the site say?

Which towns you drive to, whether there's a travel fee, and what you need from the customer, like a tap, an outlet and space to work. It saves you turning up somewhere you can't do the job.

Can customers book and pay a deposit online?

Yes. If you use a booking tool like Square Appointments, we link every book button to it, deposits included. If not, a booking form sends you the vehicle, package and time to confirm.

Can you build a before and after slider?

Yes. Two photos of the same panel or seat, taken from the same spot, with a handle to drag between them. It works with a thumb on a phone, like the one on the Lustre Lane demo.

Should we mention winter salt?

If you do salt removal and undercarriage washes, yes. Give it a line on your packages and on your homepage through the winter. In Ontario, it's a real reason people book in March.

Tell us your business name. We'll build a homepage that shows your packages by vehicle and your best before and after shots, and email you a link to try on your phone. If you'd rather keep your current site, ask for an AI search tune-up instead.

What would you like?
