A heating and cooling website has to work the night the furnace quits.

It's January in Mississauga, the house is getting colder, and the furnace just keeps clicking. The homeowner wants someone who can come in the morning, a rough idea of the cost, and some sign you know their make of furnace. In July it's the air conditioner. In between, they're asking ChatGPT whether a heat pump makes sense.

We'll design your new website for free. You only pay if you like it.

A heating and cooling website we built from scratch

Ember & Frost is a business we made up. The website is real and finished.

A furnace comes apart into its parts as you scroll and lights up to warm the house, then the whole scene cools to blue as the heat pump takes over.

It shows prices for furnace, AC and heat pump work before anyone calls, and asks how cold it is outside to point people to the right service. Maintenance plans get their own section, so tune-up customers can sign up without phoning.

Ask ChatGPT who can fix a furnace tonight. It gives a short list.

AI tools pick heating companies from what they can read: the services you offer, whether you take after-hours calls, the towns you cover, the brands you work on, and what your reviews say. A website that's mostly a logo and a phone number leaves you off that list.

We also tell search engines exactly what you are, a heating and air conditioning business, in the structured format they read, along with your hours, your territory and whether you pick up after dark.

Our furnace stopped working and it's minus 15 outside. Who can fix it in Mississauga tonight?

These heating companies in Mississauga offer after-hours furnace repair:

  1. Cooksville Comfort HeatingTheir site lists 24-hour furnace repair, the after-hours rate, and the furnace brands their technicians work on.
  2. Northwind Heating & AirTSSA-certified gas technicians, with a maintenance plan that includes priority service in winter.
  3. Credit Valley Climate Co.Well reviewed for heat pump installs. Customers mention clear quotes and help with the rebate paperwork.

What a heating and cooling website needs

Your customers come to you in one of three moods: something broke, the season is changing, or they're weighing a big purchase. Your site needs a clear path for each.

  • A no-heat path that's hard to miss

Tap to call, your after-hours hours and fee, and a few things to check first, like the thermostat batteries and the filter. A few calls end right there, and people remember who helped.

  • Prices, or at least ranges

A new furnace or AC is a big number. A range by home size, and what moves the price up or down, helps people feel ready to call instead of putting it off.

  • Heat pumps in plain words

People want to know whether a heat pump works through an Ontario winter and what a cold-climate model is. A page that answers plainly, with a date on it, is the kind of thing AI tools can quote.

  • Rebates without stale numbers

Rebate programs change often. We link to the official program page and say how you help with the paperwork, instead of copying amounts that go out of date.

  • Maintenance plans people can join online

What's included, what it costs a year, and a form to sign up. Plan customers are the ones who call you first when something breaks.

  • Your certificates and the brands you know

In Ontario, gas work needs TSSA-certified technicians and handling refrigerant needs an ODP card. Say your team has them, and list the furnace and AC brands you install and service.

What we change on an HVAC company's website

When a heating and cooling site comes to us, this list is where the work begins.

Your site nowYour new site
Furnaces, AC, heat pumps, water heaters and duct cleaning all on one page.A page or section for each, so “heat pump installation Mississauga” lands on heat pumps.
A “Request service” form with no word on when you'll respond.Your response times in plain words: same day, next morning, or the next open slot.
Rebate amounts from two years ago.A dated rebate page that links to the official program, so it never quotes old numbers.
Stock photos of a smiling technician.Your own trucks, team and installs, each with the street or town and the unit you put in.
No mention of after-hours calls.Your after-hours number, hours and fee, right next to the call button.

What it costs

We'll design your new website for free. You only pay if you like it.

Choose a new website, or keep the site you have and let us fix it for AI search. Everyone pays the same prices, so you'll know the cost before we start.

Heating and cooling fits neatly into five pages: the no-heat number on the homepage, then furnaces, air conditioning, heat pumps, and maintenance plans alongside the area you serve.

The tune-up covers your business details for AI tools, answers to the questions customers ask, an llms.txt file, crawler access, page titles and descriptions, and your Google Business Profile.

Questions about HVAC websites

Can the site explain heat pump rebates?

Yes, in plain words, with the date it was last checked. Programs change often, so we link to the official page rather than copying amounts, and with the care plan we update it when the program changes.

Should we show prices for a new furnace or AC?

Ranges work well. A range by home size, plus what pushes it up or down, tells people you're upfront without locking you into a number before you've seen the house.

Can customers book a tune-up or join a maintenance plan online?

Yes. If you run Jobber, Housecall Pro or similar, the sign-up button opens it. Without one, a short request form does the job and you confirm the date.

We do commercial work too. Can the site cover both?

Yes. Residential and commercial can each have a page, and the details AI tools read will say you do both, so a property manager's question can find you as well as a homeowner's.

Is there a place for our TSSA certification?

Right beside the call button. We'll say your technicians are TSSA-certified for gas work and carry ODP cards for refrigerant, and include it in the hidden description too.

We'll design your new website for free. You only pay if you like it.

Send us your company name. We'll build a homepage that handles no-heat calls, AC season and heat pump questions, and email you a private link to look over. If you'd rather keep your current site, ask for an AI search tune-up instead.
