A cleaning website should say exactly what gets cleaned.

Someone in Oakville is about to let a stranger into their home, maybe with a key under the mat. Before they book, they want to know what a regular clean covers, roughly what a house their size will cost, whether you bring your own supplies, and that you're insured. “Contact us for a quote” makes them do the work.

We'll design your new website for free. You only pay if you like it.

A house cleaning website we built from scratch

Sill & Baseboard is a business we made up. The website is real and finished.

A classic site with no scroll animation. A drawn floor plan shows exactly what each clean covers, room by room.

Prices for weekly and biweekly plans are up front, a first visit is explained step by step, and a short form works out the price for your home before anyone has to call.

ChatGPT recommends the cleaners who say what's included.

Asked for a house cleaner, AI tools look for what each clean covers, prices, the areas you serve, insurance, and reviews that mention reliability. All of it is easy to write down, and all of it is easy to leave out.

Specifics are what get repeated. “Insured, same cleaner every visit, supplies included, Oakville and Burlington” is a sentence an AI tool can pass on. “Professional cleaning you can trust” isn't.

I need a reliable house cleaner in Oakville every two weeks. Who's insured and brings their own supplies?

These Oakville cleaning services offer biweekly cleaning and say they're insured:

  1. Bronte Home CleaningTheir website lists exactly what a regular clean includes, room by room, and says their cleaners bring all the supplies.
  2. Glen Abbey HousekeepingShows prices by home size and says you get the same cleaner every visit.
  3. Lakeshore Tidy Co.Well reviewed for move-out cleans. Customers mention they're insured and easy to rebook.

Your business isn't in this answer.

Example answer for Oakville. The businesses in it are made up.

What a cleaning website needs

Hiring a cleaner is mostly about trust and a little about price. Your site should settle both before the first message.

  • A checklist for each clean

Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, floors. What's in a regular clean, what's in a deep clean, what costs extra. It heads off the “I thought that was included” conversation.

  • Prices, or how you price

By home size, by the hour, or by bedrooms and bathrooms. A starting price lets people see they can afford you before they book.

  • Trust, spelled out

Insured, background-checked, the same cleaner each time, how you handle keys and alarm codes. Say what's true for you, in plain words.

  • Supplies and pets

Do you bring everything, or use theirs? Are you fine with a dog at home? Small things, but they're often what tips someone into booking.

  • Booking a regular slot

Weekly, every two weeks or monthly, with a form or booking tool that lets people pick a day. Regular clients are the business, so make that the easy path.

  • The other cleans you do

Move-out, move-in, after a renovation, offices. Each gets a short section of its own, because people search for exactly those words.

What we change on a cleaning company's website

Cleaning sites tend to be missing the same handful of things.

Your site nowYour new site
“Get in touch for a quote” and nothing else.Starting prices by home size, and a form that works out an exact price.
A list of services with no detail.A room-by-room checklist for each kind of clean.
Nothing about insurance or who's coming into the house.Insurance, background checks and how you handle keys, near the book button.
Stock photos of a spotless kitchen nobody on your team has ever seen.Your own team, with first names, and photos of real kitchens and bathrooms you've cleaned.
No towns listed.Oakville, Burlington, Milton: each area you clean, spelled out, so you can show up for “house cleaning Burlington” too.

What it costs

We'll design your new website for free. You only pay if you like it.

Choose a new website, or keep the site you have and let us fix it for AI search. Everyone pays the same prices, so you'll know the cost before we start.

A cleaning company's five pages might be: the homepage, regular cleaning with its checklist, deep and move-out cleans, prices and booking, and the neighbourhoods you cover.

The tune-up covers your business details for AI tools, answers to the questions customers ask, an llms.txt file, crawler access, page titles and descriptions, and your Google Business Profile.

Questions about cleaning company websites

Should a cleaning company show prices online?

Yes, at least starting prices. A price by home size, or by bedrooms and bathrooms, tells people whether you fit their budget. You can still confirm the final price after a walk-through.

Can customers book recurring cleans online?

Yes. Anyone on Jobber or a similar tool can send customers straight into it. Otherwise a form collects the address, home size, how often and a preferred day, and you confirm.

How do we show people they can trust us?

Say what's true and specific: that you're insured, that cleaners are background-checked, that it's the same person each visit, how keys are kept. Reviews that mention those things help too, so we put them next to the book button.

We also clean offices. Do they belong on the same website?

Yes, as its own page. Office managers search differently from homeowners, and that page can talk about after-hours cleaning, contracts and invoicing.

Can the site work out a price on its own?

Yes. A short calculator on the page can work out a price from home size and how often, as the Sill & Baseboard demo does. We set it up with your real rates.

Give us your company name and the areas you clean. Your checklist, prices and booking go onto a new homepage, and a private link to it lands in your inbox within a few days. If you'd rather keep your current site, ask for an AI search tune-up instead.

What would you like?

No website yet? Type "none" and we'll start from your Google listing. The preview is free, and we'll only use your number about your preview. Not ready? Check your current website first.
