A barbershop website should book the chair while you're cutting.
Someone new to Peterborough needs a haircut before Friday. They search “barber near me” on their phone, look at a few photos of fades, check the price and whether you take walk-ins, then book whoever lets them pick a time in under a minute. Nobody wants to phone a shop while the clippers are running.
We'll design your new website for free. You only pay if you like it.
A barbershop website we built from scratch
Lockkeeper Barbers is a business we made up. The website is real and finished.
A client gets a skin fade as you scroll: clipper passes with the guard numbers, the line-up, then a hot towel and straight razor.
It reads like the shop: a price board, three barbers with their own days, hours with walk-in times spelled out, and a booking section where you choose the barber. Everything a first-timer wants to know before they sit down.

People ask ChatGPT where to get a good fade. It answers with three shops.
AI tools recommend barbershops whose websites list the cuts, the prices, the hours and how to book, and whose reviews mention the barbers by name. If all of that lives only in your Instagram posts and your booking app, the AI may never find it.
There's no special trick for barbers. It comes down to your prices, hours and booking link being written on your own website, where a machine can read them, as well as in your apps.
These Peterborough barbershops do skin fades and take online bookings:
- Two Chairs BarbershopTheir website lists every cut with a price and lets you choose a barber and a time online.
- Clipper Club BarbersTakes walk-ins on weekday afternoons and says so on the homepage, with photos of recent fades.
- Old Mill BarbersWell reviewed for skin fades and beard trims. Customers mention it's easy to get in on short notice.

What a barbershop website needs
People pick a barbershop quickly, on a phone. Your site needs to answer four things fast: what you do, what it costs, when you're open and how to get in.
Booking on every page
A Book now button up top that opens your booking app, whether that's Booksy, Squire, Fresha or something else. No hunting for the link in your Instagram bio.
A price list as real text
Every cut, beard work, kids' cuts and seniors' prices, typed out rather than a photo of the board. Text is what Google and AI tools read most reliably.
Walk-in times, honestly
Say whether you take walk-ins and when it's usually quiet. “Walk-ins welcome weekdays before 3” saves someone a wasted trip, and saves you a grumpy review.
Each barber and their work
A photo, what they're known for, which days they're in, and a link to book with them. Regulars follow a barber, not just a shop.
Photos of real cuts
Your best fades, tapers and beard trims, from your own chairs. A handful of good ones on the site beat a link to a feed people have to scroll.
Finding the door
Address, parking, which side of the street, and whether you take cards. It sounds small until someone's circling the block five minutes before their slot.
What we change on a barbershop's website
If any of these sound familiar, that's where we start.
| Your site now | Your new site |
|---|---|
| The booking link is only in your Instagram bio. | Book now, in the header of every page, opening the app you already take bookings in. |
| Prices are a photo of the board, or missing. | Every cut and its price, typed out, so customers and search engines can both read it. |
| Hours say 9 to 7, with no word on walk-ins. | Hours, walk-in times and your busiest days, so people know when to just show up. |
| One photo of the storefront. | Photos of real cuts and of each barber, with their days and a link to book them. |
| A contact form nobody fills in. | Tap to call, tap for directions, tap to book. Three buttons, and nothing to fill in. |
What it costs
We'll design your new website for free. You only pay if you like it.
Choose a new website, or keep the site you have and let us fix it for AI search. Everyone pays the same prices, so you'll know the cost before we start.
A barbershop fits comfortably in five pages: booking on the homepage, the price list, your barbers, a gallery of cuts, and how to find you.
The tune-up covers your business details for AI tools, answers to the questions customers ask, an llms.txt file, crawler access, page titles and descriptions, and your Google Business Profile.
New website
Keep your current site
Optional, with either
Half the website price is due when you approve the preview and the rest when the site goes live. If you need more than five pages, we'll quote it before we start. The tune-up is paid when we start. Prices are in Canadian dollars, plus tax.
Questions about barbershop websites
We already use Booksy. Can the site work with it?
Yes. We link the book buttons straight to your Booksy page, or Squire, Fresha, Square or whatever you use. You keep managing bookings the way you do now. The site just makes the button easy to find.
We're walk-in only. Do we still need a website?
Yes, maybe more than a shop that books. A walk-in customer wants to know you're open, when it's quiet and where to park before they leave the house. The site answers that, and we keep your hours right on Google too.
Can each barber have their own page?
Yes. A photo, their specialties, the days they work and a link to book with them. When a barber builds a following, people search for them by name.
Can you put our Instagram cuts on the site?
Sure, as long as you're happy for us to. Your sharpest cuts each get a few words, like “skin fade with a hard part”, so they mean something to search engines as well as to customers.
Should we list prices if they go up every year?
Yes. When prices change, send us the new list and we'll update the site as part of the care plan. A current price list saves you having that conversation at the chair.
We'll design your new website for free. You only pay if you like it.
Give us the shop's name. We'll build a homepage with your prices, hours, barbers and a booking button, and send it to you as a private link to check on your phone. If you'd rather keep your current site, ask for an AI search tune-up instead.
